Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Genify ("Company", "we", "us") governing your subscription to and use of the Genify document generation platform. Please read this Agreement carefully before subscribing.

1. The Service

Genify is an AI-powered document generation platform that allows users to create professional documents — including invoices, contracts, reports, CVs, and more — from plain-language prompts. Documents are delivered as PDF or Microsoft Word files.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that documents generated will be fit for any specific legal or commercial purpose.

2. Subscription Plans

Plan features and limits are subject to change. We will notify subscribers by email at least 14 days before any material change that affects a paid plan.

3. Payment Terms

• ✦All payments, subscription billing, plan management, and cancellations are handled entirely by LemonSqueezy. By subscribing, you agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service at lemonsqueezy.com/terms.
• ✦Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
• ✦All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes imposed by your jurisdiction.
• ✦Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• ✦We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
• ✦Genify is not responsible for payment processing failures, billing disputes, incorrect charges, or any issue arising from LemonSqueezy's platform. For billing issues, contact LemonSqueezy support directly.
• ✦Subscription management including upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations is performed through the LemonSqueezy customer portal accessible from your billing settings.
• ✦Credit top-ups are one-time purchases processed by LemonSqueezy and are non-refundable unless the Service was materially non-functional at the time of purchase.

4. Prompt Storage & Admin Access

Your document prompts are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM industry-standard encryption before being stored in our database. Authorized Genify administrators may access your prompts in decrypted form solely for the purpose of debugging, resolving service errors, and improving service quality. Such access is logged, audited, and strictly limited to authorized personnel. We do not use your prompts for any purpose beyond providing and improving the Service.

• ✦Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge to support@genify.site
• ✦Refunds may be granted if the Service was materially non-functional during the billing period
• ✦Free plan users are not eligible for refunds as no payment is required

6. AI Content & Professional Advice Disclaimer

• ✦Legal documents should always be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction before execution.
• ✦Financial documents should be verified by a qualified accountant or financial advisor.
• ✦Genify is a drafting and productivity tool, not a substitute for professional services.
• ✦You assume sole responsibility for any legal or financial consequences arising from the use of generated documents.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• ✦Genify's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
• ✦We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
• ✦We are not liable for any damages resulting from your reliance on AI-generated documents without professional review.
• ✦We are not liable for third-party service failures, including payment processors, cloud providers, or AI model providers.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Genify and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) documents you generate and use through the Service; (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Cancellation & Termination

• ✦You may cancel your subscription at any time through the LemonSqueezy customer portal accessible from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• ✦Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period.
• ✦We may terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service.
• ✦Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Genify after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

This Agreement is governed by international commercial law principles. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings. You waive the right to participate in class-action proceedings against Genify.

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Genify regarding the Service and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
